Xuan Zengyong, born in Yuyao, Zhejiang, graduated from the department of physics of Fudan

University. He was the coach of Shanghai Diving Team, the director of the teaching and research

section of Shanghai Medical University and Asian President of the World Diving Coach

 Association. Currently, he occupies the international judge for Class-A diving event of FINA, the

director of China Diving Judge Committee, Vice President of Shanghai Diving Committee and the

professor of Fudan University. He has won special government allowance since 1992.

Professor Xuan Zengyong is the sports technology leader of our country,whoalso has a reputation in sports both at home and abroad. He owns a splendid 25-year history of international diving

judge. He has been the judge for the 24^th, 25^th and 26^th Olympic Games, 4 World Championships

and 7 world events like World Cup; the referee for the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th National Games, 30

 International games, the World University Games, the Asian Games and other important national

games; the technology director of the 29^th Olympic Games diving events; the referee, the

 arbitrator and technology represent of the 5^th to 10^th National Games and the referee for more

than 40 national games. His theses include Strength. Analysis of Top 4 in Diving, Gold Medal

Forecast of China’s Diving Team in 25^th Olympic Games, Review of China’s Diving Team after the

26th Olympic Games and The Professional Ethic of Diving Judges. He is also the central writer or

primary composer of Rules of Diving Organizing and judging and China’s Diving Sports History.

Xuan Zengyong won the Outstanding Worker Prize from Chinese Swimming Association in 1988

 and the National Outstanding Judger from the General Administration of Sports of China in 1985,

1993, 1997 and 2001.
